Perpetually finding beauty in all that surrounds us, designing and creating have always been a passion and outlet. Inspired by nature, movement and texture each work is created with the hope that it will evoke a feeling of whimsy and charm while ultimately capturing happiness and purity.  Contrasting sizes, shapes and directions create images that subtly emerge among the small and large cuts of paper.  Intrigued by both delicate and bold lines, opposing approaches are at the heart of every design. Whether it is cut paper or paint, each work begins with a delicate approach. Born and raised in Baltimore, Kimberly Troy is an interior designer, artist and writer.  She is grateful for the freedom to create and design when she is not with her husband and 3 children.
