Originally from Baltimore, Caroline Chriss is a Chicago based artist who uses art to transport the viewers mind to a moment, scene, or feeling they may never want to forget. She is deeply intrigued by the never ending line that forms when the ocean below meets the universe above; where the unbounded sea meets the ample sky. She is inspired by the beach. She organically trickles in the man made elements of boats and houses, and occasionally man himself, to build that remarkable moment where all parts of life, ever so big and ever so small, collide on that one special place, creating a snapshot of beauty just waiting to be captured.
